Tea is one of the fastest growing Fair Trade Certified product categories, and in 2005, imports of fair trade tea increased 187 percent. Like fair trade coffee, fair trade teas allow you to purchase a high quality product that directly benefits the lives of producers and their families in developing countries around the globe.
The Fair Trade Certified Tea Program began in 2001, and it now includes tea from the camellia family, rooibos tea, hibiscus, chamomile and peppermint.
